Recipe Yield: 8–10 rolls

INGREDIENTS

2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
2 ¼ tsp instant yeast (1 packet)
2 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1 cup warm water (110°F)
2 tbsp olive oil
1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
5 oz sliced pepperoni
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tbsp melted butter (for brushing)

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Prepare the dough:
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, salt, and yeast. Add warm water and olive oil. Stir until dough forms, then knead on a floured surface for 6–8 minutes until smooth.

2. First rise:
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm spot for 1 hour or until doubled in size.

3. Shape and fill:
Punch down the dough and roll it into a large rectangle, about ¼-inch thick. Evenly layer mozzarella and pepperoni slices over the surface, then sprinkle with Italian seasoning.

4. Roll and cut:
Starting from the long side, roll the dough tightly into a log. Slice into 8–10 equal pieces.

5. Second rise:
Place rolls on a parchment-lined baking sheet with one cut side facing up. Cover loosely and let rise for 20–25 minutes. Meanwhile, preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

6. Bake to golden perfection:
Bake for 15–18 minutes or until lightly golden and cheese is melted. Immediately brush tops with melted butter.

7. Serve and enjoy:
Let cool slightly before serving. Perfect with marinara for dipping.
